Welcome to Adams College of English!
It is our pleasure to welcome you on behalf of Adams College of English. We provides some of the best English as a Second Language (ESL) and intensive TOEFL preparation programs specifically designed for international students who wish to prepare for U.S. college and university admissions.
Adams College of English has received an approval from the State of California-Department of Consumer Affairs, Bureau for Private postsecondary and Vocational (BPPVE)-California Education Code Sections 94915(b), (f), and Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations Section 73410. Adams College of English is also authorized by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to accept international students and issue a Form I-20 using the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS).

The mission of this institution is to provide a high quality educational experience to each enrolled English as Second Language (ESL) student. The goal of our training program is to have each of our students acquire reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in English as Second Language. The philosophy of our ESL program at our institute is that English is best learned when written and oral skills are combined. All classes are taught in a communicative and interactive way incorporating as much cultural content as possible. Thus the student is learning not only the skills needed to achieve the goal of mastering English, but also the appropriate context in which to use them while living in theUnited States.
Adams College of English offers ESL classes for non-native speakers and TOEFL preparation classes.

Student Records
Student records for all students are kept for five years. Students may inspect and review their educational records. To do so, submit a written request identifying the specific information you would like to review. Should you find, upon your review, that there are records that are inaccurate or misleading you may request that errors be corrected. In the event that a difference of opinion exists regarding the existence of errors, you may ask that a meeting be held to resolve the matter. It is our
intent to carefully follow the rules applicable under the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act. It is our intent to protect the privacy of your financial, academic and other school records. We will not release such information to any individual without having first received your written request to do so,or unless otherwise required by law.
Student Conduct
Students are expected to behave professionally and respectfully at all times. Enrolling students will receive a list of the current rules of conduct at the time of enrollment. Students are subject to immediate dismissal for any activity or action that endangers another or for unethical conduct or violation of the rules of conduct.
